The suite is located in the garden level of a registered heritage home built in 1913.  The suite was developed in 1987 and has
since been rented to long term tenants.   The last tenants lived here for seven years.  The suite has been recently renovated and furnished for tourists.  My vision for this renovation was to provide guests with a comfortable and relaxing oasis in the city.

The Cuban inspired living room is spacious and has south facing patio doors that lead into the landscaped backyard.  The
 living room has a large screen television, bue ray disk player, and a reclining couch.  Cable and wireless internet are provided. 

The landscaped backyard has arbours and three fountains, it is a great place for your morning coffee, a glass of wine, or dinner alfresco.  There is a hammock available for your afternoon siesta.

There are two bedrooms, the master has a queen sized bed and a large closet. 
The inspiration for this room came from an antique dresser; if dressers could talk this one would have many tales to tell. 
Every drawer has a keyhole and it was designed for moving, as the entire piece is collapsible.
An antique  brass fireplace fan in the window serves in place of a blind. 
There are several pieces of antique furniture and art in the room but the deluxe mattress and high quality linens are all new and
luxurious.

The second bedroom has a double bed and a walk in closet.  This room has antique Canadiana dressers; the walls showcase a gallery of seascapes by a well known Canadian artist. New deluxe mattresses and high quality linens ensure a good nights rest. 
There is a small television that receives limited cable.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining.  Almost everything in the kitchen is new except for the classic 1940s stove which my last tenant swore was the best that she ever used and forbade me from replacing.

The bathroom includes both a tub and a shower.  A variety of  toiletries are provided.
